Stærk&Christensen is a New York-based studio with a reputation for unique work across the fields of fashion, interiors, architecture, photography and film.
Rooted in a Danish design heritage and mid-century modern sensibility, mixed with gothic, mythical themes and the haunting glamour of old Hollywood, the studio executes their signature work inspired by this sphere of influence, nature’s raw materials and their appreciation for original architecture.

Born and raised in the countryside of Denmark, Camilla Stærk studied fashion and textiles at Ravensbourne College in London before launching her original namesake brand immediately upon graduation.
The sophisticated, dark romance of her women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories and interiors have earned her the British Fashion Council’s Newgen Award, collaborations with top fashion brands and hotels, multimedia solo art exhibitions and dedicated collectors from London to Tokyo to the Americas.
She lives in The West Village, New York City.

Helena Christensen is one of the original super models and a celebrated fashion and art photographer. Born in Copenhagen to a Peruvian mother and Danish father, Helena has risen to global fame, gracing the covers of fashion magazines and being the face of multiple campaigns since the early 90’s.
Simultaneously Christensen has been serving as a founding partner and creative director of Nylon Magazine, launching the concept store Butik in New York City and created best selling designs with Habitat London. She is also the creative director of the perfume company Strangelove.
She was appointed UNHCR goodwill ambassador in 2019 and travels the world as a writer and photographer to document the hardships of refugees and displaced persons.
Her photography has been published extensively in art and design magazines and is frequently showcased in galleries from Europe to the US.
She lives in The West Village, New York City.
